The experiment
I spent 15 years in IT. Now I'm trying to make a living from music, and I'm building the rest of my life while I'm at it. In public, with real numbers.
Music is the main thread. The bigger thing is that I'm building my ideal life across all 11 areas, with a system I designed for it, and documenting what actually happens: what I plan, what I do, what I get wrong.
The stake
Money runs out May 3, 2027
That date moves every month, up when income comes in, down when I spend. It's on the dashboard, always, together with what each city costs me per month.
Five rules
- One episode every Tuesday. Short, about the week that just happened. No skipped weeks, no "catch-up" compilations.
- Every quarter: a plan on camera, then a review on camera. Goals go up before the quarter starts. The review says which ones I missed and why.
- Real numbers. Runway in months and the exact date. Monthly spend. Income by source, in percent. Goals done vs planned in every area. Weight and body composition.
- No sponsored content. Nobody pays for what I say here.
- No restarts. If a quarter goes badly, it's in the review, and the next one starts on schedule. The experiment doesn't reset and it doesn't get rebranded.
What "ideal life" means here
Eleven areas: Health & Fitness, Love, Family & Friends, Career & Passion, Fun & Recreation, Finance, Life Quality, Impact, Self Development, Spirituality & Mindset, Life Management. Each one gets goals every quarter. Three of them (Love, Family, Spirituality) show counts only; the people in them didn't sign up for this.
Why
Because "I'll do it someday" was the plan for about a decade. This is the version with a date on it.
I have no idea if it works. That's the point.
